Everyone pitches in - note the grass and clover that was trying
to take over the pathway all the way around - arrgh!

We had a gracious plenty of plants to put in for color, with thanks to
all who contributed - a gentleman approached us as we were setting up
wanting to buy some from us, thinking we were a fundraising plant sale
- maybe someday... Volunteers brought everything from shelter to
a hotplate to a truck.

Weeds, weeds, weeds - who is winning? You can do it, Bob!

All along the pathway, many of the remaining old stones were taken out
to be replaced with the lovely new ones, though the same quotes and
people remain on them.

Everyone is working so hard, let's all take a nap.

Wonderful compost, but so very much of it..! shovel, shovel...
See the dark clouds in the sky in the picture above? They began
to approach and the wind began to pick up...

Here it comes! Rain by the bucketful!

Some of our stalwart weeders could not be stopped. "Come back
here you cowards, it's just rain!"

Rain....rain.... Hey, it makes the ground softer, right?

As the rain let up, everyone got back to work - hmm, where shall we put
this tree?

The day is running out of light, and we are running out of steam...but
the garden is looking good! Here are a couple pictures of the
nearly-finished product of our labors...

And of course if you have rain and compost...you get MUD! Add a
truck and you get...

Add the volunteers of OSG and you get our sentiment for the day...
